Isabel Voets
Isabel Voets studied Drama at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. Since 2006, she has been a reporter and editor for the VRT, and since 2009 for Klara. In addition, she works as a freelancer for various music theatre companies.
Together with Theater De Spiegel, she contributed to the sound performance ‘Oort’ (2021) and the 3D audio installation 'BAST' (MHKA, 2023).
She creates radio documentaries and/or podcasts for Radio 1 and Klara, including ‘Opus 14-18 ’(2013), ‘Beeldenstormen’ (2016), ‘Vivaldi’ (2023), and the Van Ostaijen series: ‘Miavoye, de laatste reis van Paul van Ostaijen’ (2014) and ‘Boem Paukeslag’ (2022).
In 2023, she produced an audio walking tour through the Antwerp city center as part of the 125th anniversary of the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. Together with Matthijs de Ridder, Lies Colman, and Pauline Lebbe, she created the concert lecture 'Herauten van de moderne muziek' (2024-2025).
